Non payer question

Sold two weeks ago and I REALLY need the money (£50) but they've ignored all messages /invoices. I know i should now open a case...but during that, can i send a second chance offer to the next person down? Or do i have to wait for the case to close? (and i also risk the problem of two people paying at same time?) Am i allowed to send a 2nd chance offer and if that person pays, just close the case early?

no, you need to open the case, wait 4 days and close it first, and only then do a second chance offer or a relist.

ok thanks. and that way i get my fees back in case second person doesn't pay? do i have to give a reason for closing it after only 4 days?

Another question...if the reluctant buyer has changed their mind about the item but does, after case opened, begrudgingly pay, can they still leave negative feedback?

If the case closes without them paying you get your fees back. The whole thing happens automatically once you've opened the case, no further reasons to give.

Yes to your second question, they can leave any f/back they like if they do pay up before case closes.

Next time, don't wait as long as 2 weeks before opening a case. You can now open one after 2 days, which I, personally, think is a bit soon. If you haven't heard from them after around 5 days it is definitely time to open a case.

i only waited 2 weeks as it was my dad's choice (he kindly gave me something of his to sell) and he wanted me to give this person a fortnight... i won't be that lenient with anyone in future!
