Refunding/returning item

I've had my first "painful" customer. Wants either money off or items returned and full refund (approx £200). I prefer the latter because of the hassle factor.

What do I do? Ask them to return them by method I sent them. When I received them do I then refund the money?

Any help gratefully received...

yes - tell them to return in the condition in which it was sent, and once you have checked your security marks you will refund
