Freecycle, Gumtree, Freeloved ect does anybody else have any good ideas?

Ebay for 99p might as well be free.

I love a bargain who doesn't but I really have got the "bug" need some more. lol

I got a chestnut tree off a tree surgeon which is heating the house in our woodburner.

my motto is "cutting back not cutting out"

Anybody

Where are you? What do you want? Someone on here may have something they want to get rid of?

Tring, Firewood mostly.

I don't particularly want anything, though. I like to keep an eye on things incase we may need something. For example I had a look at Freecycle today and got some wellies for one of my boys. Whoohoo, so I need to increase my list of things to keep an eye on. Now I have the bug real bad!

I am not particularly stingy just allergic to spending money LOL shopping centers make me very nervous!

Sorry I can't help personally as I don't have firewood and I don't live in Herts.

Can you legally collect from a local public woodland, and store some wood to season it? Have you contacted a gardener and asked them for first refusal on wood?
