Travel Cot

Can anyone recommend a good travel cot? My baby is 5 weeks old so it needs to be suitable from birth. We're going on holiday in the summer so it has to be good for going abroad and also for occasional use when we stay with friends. If it could be used as a playpen too, that would be a bonus.

Can you not use a moses basket? Wouldn't put a newborn in any travel cot I've seen. ..

We bought one like this for our dgd, it has a basinette insert that can be used until the baby can sit up. She seems to like it, although as it is used as a downstairs sleeping place every day we did buy a proper mattress. The one included is fine for occasional use.

Thanks so much. I think I'm going to get that sun and sleep mini travel cot as it will pack into my suitcase which means Sleazy Jet won't charge me for it as an extra (I'm already taking a car seat and buggy). Later on I'll buy a travel cot - apparently Baby Dan is good as they last for ages.

Just to say we have the baby Dan and it's great - my 2 year old still sleep happily in it. We did buy an extra mattress from Amazon as the one it came with it quite thin though
