Unexplained bleeding???

Really need some advice!
On Saturday 5th June i THINK i ovulated, my hubby and i did the deed but am not overly confident as we have already been TTC for the last 2 years. The 5th was day 14 of my cycle. Then on day 17 i went to the gym (this is not unusual)and had a gentle jog for 20 minutes nothing major and felt fine. An hour later once home i felt that i was having some CM so then thought 'oh maybe i hadnt ovulated on the 5th' but when i went to the bathroom it was bright red blood. Quite a bit, not as much as a period, no clotts just bright red. The next 3 days followed with brown blood which eventually got lighter.Nothing like this has every happened before and my periods are always regular.

Now it didnt feel like a period, and my period isnt due until the very earlist 23rd June. Im just confused what it is. I also got worried because i am due to start Clomid on my next period, should i have started it then or was i right to hold off to see if i come on at the correct time. I did have some slight cramping but nothing major. I cant see why me jogging would have caused it, its not like im new to running.

Has anyone had a similar experience??

It could be implantation bleeding - hopefully!

That has crossed my mind, but read that thats generally a brown coloured. Im in two minds because it started bright red and there was a fair amount. Also do you think that day 17th could be too early for implantation?

All these questions, i suppose i can only rule that out by the end of the month if i have a period or not

I second implantation bleeding as a possibility.Do a test in a few days.

Implantation can be red or brown. If it is, it's a good sign that it's gone from red to brown (brown is old blood). Can also differ in amounts.

My Implantation bleed was 10 days after the end of AF, so I guess about CD17, so highly possible. Like you, was very confused as my AF wasn't due for at least another week.
