How early can I test?

Ok, I know I know I should wait til the day AF is due. But really how many days past OV can I test with one of those ultra sensitive HPTs? I have 13 of them in my bathroom drawer and am desperate to know if my first cycle of Clomid worked. Judging by the follicle tracking scans I OVd on CD16 or maybe 17. How early can a BFP show? (Am currently on CD27 and getting twitchy trying to hold off!) I am a POAS-aholic!!

I need some distraction until Friday ideally, so if anyone has suggestions for surviving the 2ww, send them my way!

It's excruciating isn't it. I got a bfp with ds at 10dpo with a Tescos cheapie (the faintest of faint lines which was darker the following day), so it's possible that you could find out in the morning but you have to bear in mind that you might still get a false negative.

twolittle how long are your cycles?

i tested today (cd 23 of usually 30day cycle) and have the most faint bfp.

i dont know how you have resisted tbh! you are far more sensible than me.

I wasn't able to resist in the end - tested this morning and it was BFN, not even a whiff of a +ve if I held it up to the light and squinted! My cycles are virtually non-existent without Clomid, which I'm on this month. Last time I was on Clomid my cycles were clockwork 28 days.

Congratulations to both of you on your BFPs! Hopefully I'll be joining you soon! I'll test again at the weekend I suppose, if AF hasn't got me by then...
