"Ovulation" pain: early pregnancy symptom?

Do forgive what may well be a dumbass question: it does come partly from selfishness but I'd also be intrigued to know the answer/s!

I've had ovulation pains ever since my teens (the classic sharp pinching pain low in the side of the abdomen). My husband and I are TTC our first. I'm around 10-12 DPO, and of course symptom-spotting like a maniac. Aside from convincing myself I have an increased sense of smell (but then, Whitechapel does smell), I have for 2 or 3 days had mild, grumbling pains very like ovulation pain, and I wondered whether anyone had experienced these in early pregnancy? Certainly I wouldn't normally have them this late in my cycle, and they are identical to OV pain - only less severe.

It might be my newly high-fibre diet, of course!

Anyway - any experiences of this welcome...

Please answer this someone as I'm just the same, but a day or so behind! Anything else Headbanger? Spinny head? Slightly pukey/hungover feeling? Completely knackered? And I can smell a pile of logs over by the fireplace, a bunch of freesias on the table and as for the pee....
Am I delsuionall? Am I? I am aren't I?

That's delusional with only one "l" obviously.

We're both delusional pal, probably!

I actually feel fine, aside from the twanging pain (that's how I explained my first ever OV pain to the GP, at which point he ruled out appendicitis!).

Normally by now I think I'd feel a bit shitty leading up to the Red Tide of Doom - especially with tiredness and a huge bloated belly. But that might be a slightly longer cycle and therefore slightly delayed PMS

My boobs would be awful by now usually. But they're only mildly sore!

All I can add is that the month I was (finally) pregnant with my lovely son I was certain my AF was on its way because of all the cramp like pains. We're currently ttc#2 - I hope you get the answer you're looking for! xxx decaf

Early pg, to me, feels exactly like ovulation pain. Sharp, pinchy feeling on one side, coupled with a weird constipated type feeling. I've been pg a couple of times and the side I felt the pinching on was the side I had ovulated on and the side the corpeus luteum had attached to, so I guess that was it.

Best of luck to all of you.

at decaf too.

One more weird thing (or maybe not) - I just went out for some food for tea and put my car keys down for literally ten seconds and completely forgot where I'd put them. Then in Tesco's when the girl asked me for money I just gaped helplessly at the coins in my hand wondering which ones to give her. She virtually had to pick them out for me - probably through I'd escaped from somewhere. That's enough for now I think.

Hmmm show- that's really interesting. I googled corpus luteum (I = thicko). Had no idea there was such a thing!

Madness innit. well: I POAS and it was emphatically negative. Not due for another 3 days but I think we can safely say the groin pain was constipation or something equally unglamorous...
