Anyone tried monitoring their cycles by cervix position?!

Hi

I'm TTC and previously had fairly regular cycles. However last month I ovulated about a week later than usual and this one several days early. So I'd like to keep track of my cycles but really don't want to do temping and CM isn't very 'consistent'. I have read that position of cervix can indicate when you're ovulating - ie raised and soft when you are and lower and firmer before and after. Has anyone done this and does it really move/change noticeably enough to be able to tell the difference?! I guess the only way to find out is to give it a go but I though I would see if anyone has any experience...

Buy the toni weschler book - taking charge of your fertility. it tells you everything you need to know. It also has photos so you know what you are meant to be feeling for!! I have found it really helpful.

i use CM, Temp, & Cervical Position. My CM never gets 'egg-whitey', and so I use CP to cross-reference temp. i find it very easy to do- although i only use position as texture & opening are too difficult for me. do you mind if I ask why you don't want to temp? i thought I would find it a pain - but after 90+ days of doing it, i don't.
