TTC for 2 1/2 years now and 2 miscarriages in that time. Thought we had missed the bd boat for December as dh & I both ill and thought our 'window of opportunity' had passed. Anyway af now at least 3 days late. Have had normal sore cramps since Friday, as if AF on its way, but nothing. Very, very light brown spotting yesterday and this got my hopes up as I had this when pg with ds. Anyway to cut a long story short decided not to test till weekend but being the stupid cow that I am I tore open my hpt like a woman possessed and did test this evening. this showed - so now i'm feeling like shit. Any words of encouragement

Hi Alibobster just wanted to stop by and encourage you to hang on another couple of days and retest then - if AF is late then there's still hope. Do you chart your cycles? Let us know how you get on xxx

alibob I am in exactly the same boat. did pg test yesterday and negative, loads of cramping going on but AF two days late now.

fed up of the thought of trying to TTc again as I have a dermoid cyst on one ovary and have had mcs and also would like a girl this time round but i know i should just go for it, but if its the wrong ov side then i know its likely to miscarry.

let me know how yours turns out.

i've taken to buying those cheap pregnancy tests where you get 2 for 4.99

I've just done exactly the same, but AF wasn't even late!!
I did 2 HPT's on Tuesday, then another about 20 mins ago - of course all BFN's!
Aaaaggh - HPT's should be banned! (not really - just need more will power not to do them!)
