Spotting but no period

This time with title- sheesh!

I have namechanged for this as I am a bit embarassed about being such a cliche!

I've been TTC now for a year, and had a MC 10 months ago. My usual cycle length is 30-31 days, although once I was 10+ days late. So it's not an exact science.

Had EWCM on CD15 so I suspect this is when I ov'd this month.

On CD30 I had very light pink spotting (only when I wiped). The next day I had very light brown spotting (same thing). Then it stopped.

It's now CD37 and nothing. My bosoms are sore, but that could be premenstrual stuff.

Now, I know that the only answer is to test- but I can't until the weekend as my man works away from home.

Of course I am hopeful, but the thing that worries me is the spotting- almost like my period tried to start then didn't. Is this bad?

If anyone can bear to humour me, I would really appreciate any advice!

hi perhapsperhapsperhaps I had the same kind of spotting as you're describing with ds, I thought at first af was starting but it just didn't progress, so I tested, which as you know you're gonna have to do soon good luck xxx

That's encouraging! Do you know what your spotting was then? I'm of course hoping mine was implantation, but then it was 15 days after I think I ov'd so it seems a bit of a long time...

Oh god, am spinning out of control, I can feel it! I don't want my hopes to be dashed again.

I never did find out what it was, but it all ended well

I have heard that sometimes when you're pregnant you do spot when your period would be due but I have no actual experience of this. I had small pink discharge on cd16, which I can't explain, am now only CD22 so too early to know anything. Sounds good for you though, good luck!!

Good luck maisieboo! Hope spotting is a good sign for both of us.

We only managed to BD on days CD4, 7 and 10 this month then I got dreaded thrush. So it may have been too early for me, but apparently it only takes the one time...!
My breasts have been sore for a week now but again it's too early for me to tell, it could all be hormonal. Good Luck for testing, let us know how you get on.

I know this is old but wondered what the outcome was. My cycle is 25 days long on average. I’m on the day my period is due today. Yesterday very light pink spotting. Today the same. I tested and it was negative. Assuming this is my period although never had one this light in my life. Have had some symptoms of pregnancy but maybe my body playing tricks on me. Argh feel so deflated today. It’s almost better if you have a full blown period as then you can stop wondering.
