Can someone help me out with this question? I'm having a debate with my DH on this and I want to know who's right. So, it's a bit embarrassing (I'm not well known here but even so I've name changed!) but just say your husband ejaculated on your hand, and then your hand went near your fanjo, is there ANY CHANCE you could get pregnant? I say no, unless perhaps you kind of deliberately put your hand up ... well, I guess you can imagine what I mean ... and even then, I don't think you would! He says that he remembers being told at school that it's possible. Suffice to say it's really important we don't get pregnant right now! And amazingly we both had quite decent educations!

It is possible, my colleague once delivered a young mother who claimed she had never had penetrative sex but had messed around. When the doctor examined her her hymen was still intact - so make of that what you will.

Although it is possible, probably not very likely and would depend if you were fertile at the time. Sperm can live for 3-5 days although some studies have suggested 7 days.

Yes it is possible. Sperm can live for up to 5 days and it is possible to get pregnant without having had penetrative sex. It's unlikely, but not impossible. For example if you did have semen around your fanjo and you then went to the toilet, it's possible you would just wipe the semen further into your vagina. You'd need to have a bath or a shower to prevent this from happening.

How strange! Very impressed that Onestonetogo had this conversation with an acquaintance over coffee when I had to name change on an anonymous internet forum!
