TTC with an underactive thyroid - does anyone know about this?

I'm going to ask the endocrine specialist about this in April but I just wondered if anyone has any experience of ttc when you have an underactive thryoid? I read something on here that worried me about an increased chance of miscarriage and other potential problems, but is this just if it isn't controlled?

Mine has been controlled well by levothyroxine for the past few months.

Thanks.

If your TSH is below 2 you should be fine

Increased chance of mc is if you are untreated or not taking enough thyroxine

Thank you - I don't know what level I am number wise, but I assume I am below two if they are telling me my levels are fine. I'll speak to them about it when I next go.

They will say your levels are fine if they are below 5 in the UK

Oh, Ok, so I'll find out. Do you know if you can get them below 2 if they're not by increasing the dose?
