PCOS Period question

Do any PCOSers (or any one else) have an answer about my weird period situation please?

Last 2 months, period has actually arrived around time (34 days last month, 27 this), but both times it has arrived with a bit of a bang and then stopped 24 hours later, with just a bit of spotting. I have recently lost over a stone (and am still losing weight), so do you think this is my body trying to get a normal cycle, or a weird new PCOS symptom??

Know noone in RL with PCOS and everyone else I know has no such problems, so any advice gratefully received!!

This all sounds typical of PCOS in terms of bleeding (my periods were always very light and lasted only 2 or 3 days at most).

Your cycles would still be seen as irregular as there is more than 4 days of variation from month to month.

PCOS is an individualistic disorder and affects each woman with it very differently.

Are you currently receiving any treatment?.

BTW you may also find Verity's website helpful; this is [www.verity-pcos.org.uk]]

Thanks Attila. Am receiving no treatment at all, Metformin did nothing for me, so am just doing what I feel is best for me in terms of lifestyle changes. Will look at Verity site, thank you.
