sore breasts even though period has finished

I have really sore boobs even though my period finished yesterday. Anyone else get sore boobs after their period? I'm not pregnant (though wish I was) so its not that. Any ideas how to stop it?

Have you tested for pregnancy? I had a 'period' and two weeks later found out I was six weeks pregnant.

yes. think I may have had chemical pregnancy as two faint faint faint lines on weekend and awfulmetallic taste before that but no line today and also heavy period that lasted for 3 days Fri-Sun - shorter than usual but normal heavyness. In theory if it was cp then boobs could hurts while hormones work there way out of system couldn't they?

This may not sound very helpful but in my experience when I'm ttc I notice all kinds of strange hormonal symptoms all over the place which previously I was never aware of. I have had sore breasts at random times, sickness, 'PMT' - the only thing I can think is bwhen you're ttc you're so much more aware of any changes. I'm embarassed to admit on two occasions I have done a pregnancy test a few days after my period convinced that as I had all these 'symptoms' I must be pregnant and the period was not a real one. Both times it was negative (of course!). My body and mind are very good at fooling me it seems.

yeah, or my other theory which is that lugging home a very heavy lot of shopping the other day has just exercised my pecs and that is what is hurting!!

Assuming you've done an test in the last couple of days, you should pop in to see your GP really just to check everything is alright.

If you have just stopped hormonal contraception then your hormines will be a bit all over the place and may be the cause.

My boobs are really sore for a couple of weeks - from ovulation i think. i also take it as a sign i must have def ovulated that month.

So confused please help. So firstly I've been sterilised for 5 years. But for the last 4 months my periods have either been 5 days early or 3 days early. So my periods normally last 5 days with bad pains. But the last 4 months I've been heavy the first day and then just spotting the day after lasting only 3 days. This month I only had a 2 day period. I finished on Thurs 28th. And today Saturday 30th my boobs are so sore! I always get sore boobs a few days before af but not this time. Has anyone else had this? If so what is it?

Hello there just a quick question the past three months I have had really strange periods and only going two and a half weeks in between each one but this months period was heavier than usual to start with then became lighter..is there something wrong? Or is there a baby in there? Thank you ❤️

I am new to this site. I need some help. I am so confused. Me period came on time on 2/6, lasted as usual but I truly bled for 1 to 2 days comparing to the usual 3 to 4. The day my period ended (on 2/11) started to feel dizzy and tired. Since then it's about extreme fatigue/sore and congested breasts/metallic taste/food aversion/ hypersensitivity to smell. Had beef preg test on 2/12 and I am afraid to repeat.
