We had one accident this month, first accident in a very long time, and I have PCOS and was told I would need clomid if I ever wanted to conceive. I am 32 and already have 2 DC's.

Anyway, because of the PCOS AF is usually every 5-6 weeks. This time it is 6 weeks and I've been feeling a bit sick so I did two of the cheapy unitests this morning and they both show a faintly positive line.

I wasn't planning on any more children and hubby has now gone out to get me a 'non-cheapy' test.

What you reckon?

Never had a problem with cheapy tests. They're cheap because they don't come in all the packaging/plastic stuff, not because they're unreliable.

I would tentatively suggest that you are pg. How are you feeling? How is dh?

I'm shaking a bit to be honest, my eldest is 9, I've just retrained as DS2 starts school in sept and I can go back to work part-time.

I don't really know how I feel.

Did you read the tests in time? They could be evaporation lines.

How long will dh be? You need to do that other test so you know for sure.

Take your time. I can understand your .

Confirm or disprove it first, then tackle it if necessary.

Sounds like the cheapies I used when pg. The line was always fainter but came up very quickly.

Let us know. Good luck.

Sounds like you might be. I have the same problem (pcos) and have irregular periods and sometimes get pg symptoms when i'm due on which makes me test. But, i think cheap tests are reliable they are only cheaper as they are not branded. Hope you are ok.

i would say any line is a positive result , let us know how the branded test goes

Clearblue says positive so I suppose I better get my head around it!

Goodness me. That confirms it I suppose.

I hope you manage to get your head round it and have a healthy and extremely happy pregnancy. That was one determined egg and equally keen sperm.

Good luck to you.

There's absolutely no reason why that should happen again. Every pg is different.

How are you today? How is dh?

You sound remarkably calm!

Hi showofhands, I don't feel too calm! But I am chief bridesmaid tomorrow and my sons are pageboys so I'm trying to busy myself with that!

DH said 'it's not ideal is it, but of course we'll love it'. I don't think he wants to talk about it!

We have just given away/sold all our baby stuff too!

well, I did tell him to have the snip!!

have changed name accordingly!
