Yeah you are quite right to wait, myjob, we have been trying for ages and dh is away next month and I was just extra hopeful this time and got ahead of myself (alone and bored tonight and focusing on every single body twinge that could mean I am pg -or premenstrual). I should not have taken the test and just waited to see if AF arrives on Sat. Best wishes to you though!

Any MN's had an early neg that was incorrect?

Yep, when my daughter was conceived I took a test at one week late, then another at two weeks late. Both negative. Didn't bother for another six weeks (seems crazy now) and finally got a positive result turned out I was 10 weeks pregnant.

I use clearblue because they do seem to be the most accurate. Am always at the price of both pg and ovulation kits though. Getting pg can cost a fortune!

Thanks tracey though, I won't give up all hope yet - what pg kit brand did you use when you got the negs?

Think it was clearblue. Was 18 months ago though and placenta brain has demolished my memory. A friend recommended Boots ov kit but i think I will have to try Clearblue next month. Or could it be that the results are skewed because I am actually pg?!!! God, don't we torture ourselves! Fingers crossed for you Rantmum that you got a duff pg test like I did!
