I've not tested yet but think I'm pg (missed period) but keep reading that you stop liking tea and coffee. I'm still love my cuppa several times a day - does this mean I'm not pg?

i love my tea now (pg with db3), and did the other 2 pgs too. Everyone is different.

do a test

if you are late it should give you an accurate response

i did not go off tea or coffee with either pregnancy. it is not a reliable indicator!

I didn't go off tea (though admittedly I do only have it weak anyway) but coffee suddenly became the most repulsive thing ever. I love it normally but I couldn't even go near it without heaving.

But these effects can take a while to kick in - you might not have them in the very early stages.

Didn't go off of tea or coffee, just bought de-caf instead! Once the MS kicked in strong flavours were a no-no but that was not until around 6 weeks.

Went off normal tea with ds2, but went for earl grey big time. Still drinking it 10 months after the event.

Do a test. It's the only way to find out.
I didn't go off anything when I was pg, except booze and unfortunately that wasn't until about 6 weeks in.

I still love it ( am 11 weeks pg with my third); have been trying to switch to decaff but keep coming back to the real stuff.
But as Voodoo says, you should do a test. Good luck!

Went off tea and coffee with DD1 and have not drunk coffee since! Went off tea again with DD2. Even now when I am poorly tea is the first thing I go off. Not everybody does though so go on, do a test now!

I always felt worse in the afternoons/evenings. Good luck with the test and let us know how you get on.

Went off normal tea but kept wanting earl grey. When in early stages of pregnancy pg tips really made me want to throw up.

Also felt sick before I did the test. My AF was 1 day late and was in a restaurant when my friend suggested a pudding (normally love them) and had to run to loo to throw up. Tested next day was positive. Good luck!

I am still feeling sick in the afternoon and period very light - might this be a very early miscarriage and if so when would I stop feeling sick?

No problem at all. Main thing is wanting to know when I will stop feeling sick (fine to feel sick with baby at end of it, not if not!) Period is v heavy now.

When I was pregnant, i had NO desire whatsoever for tea even though usually i drink 4-5 cups of tea a day (maybe more if someone offers to make one for me!)
