LP = luteal phase, i.e the days between ovulation and your period (usually 12-14 days).

Sorry - it was probably me who posted it in the first place, I get a bit carried away with all the anacronyms!

Thank you! And am I right in saying it is good if your luteal phase is longer rather than shorter?
This is so confusing - I've spent about 15 years trying NOT to get pregnant - if only I'd known how hard it actually is!

I'm with you on that one! I spent 15 years on the pill and got paranoid if I took one a bit later than normal. If only they taught us in school that you wouldn't necessarily get pregnant the first time you have sex!

It is indeed better to have a long luteal phase. If it's less than 10 days, that may not be enough time for the egg to implant in your uterus. 12-14 days is the norm, and anything 11 days or over should be absolutely fine.
