Hi everyone,

We have decided to take the plunge from 3 to 4! Smile

Our first child is 2 years old in November. It took us just over one year to conceive. I didn't do anything ovulation wise. Perhaps this is why it took us a year though so I'm thinking I may try this time to be more aware of my ovulation window.

I'm so confused by it though. Did anyone just track on a calendar? Or shop bought ovulation kits? Or does all of this make it all more stressful?

Any advice would be great please! TIA

I kept a watch for my cervical mucus thickening up/getting gloopy and also I tend to get an ovulation pain one sided, at the time I had regular periods, 24-26 days so ovulated day 10-12

I found the most accurate way of working out my ovulation was a combination of bbt charting and cheap ovulation tests from Amazon. I would get a positive test 48 hours before ovulation and then a bbt rise would confirm it. Don't trust an app alone. It can only give average information out and every body is different so an average may not fit with you.
