Hi all. Im new to this conception business. I came off the pill two weeks ago and had my withdrawal bleed. For the last two days i've had what im fairly sure is ewcm. I've also had vague period type pains. Some things i've read say this is normal and a syptom of ovulation. Some say its not normal go to a doctor. Any thoughts?

I get ovulation pains, have since I was a teenager, so it is a thing. That was diagnosed by a GP though. If this pain is new for you I'd go see your doctor just to be on the safe side :)

I get ovulation pains, is the pain in one side or both? They don't last long, maybe a few hours and ibuprofen helps...

I get pains for the three days before on both sides. Is more of a bloated kind of uncomfortable ache though and apparently it's the follicles maturing ready to release whichever egg is mature enough or something like that!

Thanks all. Feeling reassured. Ive been on the pill 7 1/2 years so unsure what normal is for me. Im so excited about ttc that im paying attention to every sign in my body at the moment.

I get the same as lozt. I feel quite weird for a few days around OV time, in fact!

Hi there I recently just posted my first post on Mumsnet about the same kind of topic! 2 weeks after my withdrawal bleed (been on the pill for 7 years too) and I'm still waiting for ovulation. I haven't had any pains as such but I'm worried my cycles may be messed up. Aslong as I ovulate each month I can keep track with strips but I hope it doesn't take forever! πŸ˜’πŸ™‚
