Cd43 (PCOS but 43 is usually my longest cycle or at least has been last year so thought had settled)

I have thought I have ovulated several times this cycle but bfns and now this positive test today so perhaps not actually succeeded other times

I felt the twinges yesterday and had EWCM (tmi) still got it and slight twinges - can't dtd till late tonight.

Basically wondering if I could have missed my chance this month if I ovulated yesterday... Or if I should still keep fingers crossed as the OPK suggests a surge still

I didn't test yesterday, OPKs arrived in post today

OPK's can pick up the pregnancy hormone!
Do a pregnancy test to check!
Either that or you are ovulating very late!

I took another today and it was mildly lighter

We dtd yesterday and it felt very "different" down there so I'm going to assume ovulated finally very late in my cycle

Tests are bfn - taken a few this month Blush

I got my bfp from an opk. Have you done a hpt today?

Haven't done one today as was very clear bfn yesterday and very positive OPK which is lighter today

I have PCOS so it's not totally unheard of to have such long cycles

Are you temping as well? Temping is more accurate than OPKs but OPKs can help pinpoint a temperature shift.

No not temping - it's first cycle of TTC #2

I did all of it with DS and then fell pregnant the month we took a break so only doing cheapie Internet tests as had a load left and discovered my love for it again Grin

The thing about PCOS is that it can cause high LH which means you can get false positives on OPKs. Tracking CM is more reliable in PCOS.

The OPK was quite a lot lighter again today so I'm going to hope, it did coincide with EWCM and that's changed now too

Was just that I thought I had O'd already so I expect those times I hadn't succeeded in Oving
