Clearblue Not So Clear....?

Hello,

First ever post....fiance and I decided recently we'd like to start trying for a baby, looking at ovulation and timings etc.

Anyway, he made a comment the other day and said wouldn't it be funny if I was already pregnant and it freaked me out a bit so I did Clearblue Plus test, only, it wasn't very clear.....I don't know if I'm just seeing things (fiance thinks I am) or if there is a faint line for positive? Any thoughts please?

That looks positive to me!! Can you do a first response test in the morning to be sure? You should get a nice clear result on one of those, they're more sensitive than clear blue.

Did it come up in the time frame? if it did I would say that's positive. If you get a first response early response test you should get a clear answer. That would be super quick! Good work Ttc! :) x

Can your fiancé honestly not see that like? He needs to get himself to spec savers!

Thank you for such quick responses!

I'll go see if the little pharmacy by my work does the first response ones tomorrow. Thank you.

Yes, the faint line was there within the 3rd minute and I kept the stick flat. The vertical line stayed and is still there.

I'll let you know the result of another test tomorrow.

Thank you again :)

No problem, how exciting!! Did you do that test this evening? If you can test again with first morning wee you'll get a stronger line.

My first positive test wasn't as clear as yours, my 8 month old DD is proof it was a positive though.

Congratulations, let us know when you've tested again! Flowers

That bottom one has a line. Faint but it's there.

And from what Igather, when a line is faint like that the clear blue will say 'not pregnant' because it's not as sensitive as other tests.

Clear blue digital is not as sensitive as other tests like the above poster says. It took me a week and first morning wee to get a positive on one of those!

I can see a line in the second test too. Hope you get a clear answer in the morning, keep us posted!!

So finally did a First Response test and it came back definitely negative so I guess the other two were just false positives. I then came on about 2 hours after the test so def not pregnant! Time to start trying this month then :D so excited!

Thank you for all your responses x

Was your period on time? A lot of people hate blue dye tests due to false positives. Stick with first response, they're really good.

Hope you get your BFP soon!!
