DD is 4 in Feb Ds is 17 months, don't feel like the family is complete, I am 35 already think we should just get on with it and see what happens. What do you think? How did you come to your descision to have 3? Was it the right thing to do? Is it that much harder having 3?

Having 3 is fantastic!! Although my youngest is only 7 months so the full effect hasn't quite kicked in yet!!

My others are DD1, who'll be 5 at xmas and DS who is 2.5

They all bring something different to our little family and there is never a dull moment!! Sometimes it's harder but that's just how it goes and you soon learn to deal with it and then you hardly notice there's 3 - I can't remember what it was like having 2!

You'll love it

TBH, I find it hard having 3 but then have dh working abroad for months at a time, only elderly family within 1 hour driving distance, and larger age gaps. Age gap thing has advantages (dd1 can go to the village shop for me etc) but I think you will end up with 'more functional unit of LOs than me - so get to it and good luck

Having said that, I ALWAYS knew I wanted 3.

Thank you for your comments, I know this is right for us, we both feel we have more space in our family it's just picking the right time but I don't think there is a right time. There will always be a reason to wait. DH is home from a 2 week trip away - he won't know what's hit him!

Meant to say as well that after I had DD and DS I thought we were done - one of each, just right, but I always had a nagging feeling in my mind that someone was missing and I couldn't settle on having two. DD2 was very very unexpected but now she's here the nagging has gone and we are complete which is a fantastic feeling!!

LOL dino Having 3 does make me feel like I have joined an exclusive club of mothers. After ds2 was born I was thinking "Ah, so now I know"

Three is great. Most of the time I don't think it is much harder, though if one of them is off somewhere else, I suddenly realise how much simpler my life could have been... Wouldn't swap any one of them or any bit of it for the WORLD!

Mine are nearly 8, nearly 6 and nearly 4 btw.

I love having 3 - it is hard work, and totally manic, but it's 'good' manic iykwim - the kids love being in a big family. I want another!
