I'm on holiday and I'm cd 30 of a 23-25 day cycle. I believe I'm 15 dpo. I started to hope I'm pregnant (have been ttc for 6 months with a luteal phase defect). I don't have a pregnancy test here so decided to poas- ovulation stick as I remembered someone on here mentioned that it can detect pregnancy. Anyway. The line went really really dark- Could this mean I'm pregnant or could it be something else? I can't get anywhere to buy a test today!!

Also- if I am do they sell folic acid here and pregnacare?!!! And anyone know what it's called??

There's another thread in active conversations atm discussing exactly this. Just look a couple of posts down from yours. I'll link it if you can't find it.

Where are you on holiday?

Are you not taking folic acid already? I mean do you have a large supply at home already and you just forgot to pack it? How much longer till you get home if this is the case?

How long is your luteal phase btw?

I never, ever did that when I went on holiday while ttc. Never. Ever. Aherm. Grin

BTW, didn't mean you shouldn't have your own thread or discuss it here but thought as it was being posted about minutes before you started the thread, you might find some of your answers on that thread.

Best of luck. I'm assuming that by luteal phase defect you meant it tended to be on the short side? If you're 15DPO then that's a very, very good sign. What's your usual LP?

And to clarify again Grin, I wasn't being inappropriately nosey about your holiday, I don't know what they call folic acid where you are because, well, I don't know where you are. Smile

It's usually 7-9 days. I expected AF to appear earlier in the week. But I didn't want to get my hopes up as Ive had the odd rogue cycle which has been a massive disappointment. Feel I need to know now though as need to get some folic acid and steer clear of the red wine and cambembert!!
