Hi,

I have finally managed to get a Dr appointment with a GP at my practise who specialises in 'Women's Health'. I would like to dicsuss TTC with her as we are having some issues:

I have 1 DS who is almost 2. Ever since he was born (apart from 3 months when I was on BC pill) we have been hoping to get pregnant. However, my periods were absent for first 10 months after he was born. Now I have periods, however they are very irregular. My last cycles have gone 33-38-35-48-53 days in length. I have tried the ovulation sticks but these seem to give strange and misleading results for me. I saw a different Dr 2 months ago who told me to return for possible investigation into PCOS.

Anyway I was just wondering what I should expect and what to talk to tell the DR to be taken seriously!

Write any questions you have down. There aren't any silly questions.
My kind goes blank whenever I sit in front of a dr so it helps me.
Ask about what is next after what ever step as you will probably end up waiting weeks or months to speak with them again and you'll probably be wondering.
Find out when and how you will get any results from blood tests etc.
Mine offered me a telephone appointment which was not possible for me to make and should have made a follow up appointment when I knew I was having bloods done.
When you are given an appointment call the number and to to bring it forward.
Good luck Flowers
