Hi,

We have just done a few pregnancy tests and need reassurance and other people's views. There seems to be a line but its faint, we don't know! It's been a while as I have polycystic ovaries and we don't want to get carried away.

In the pic the top test brand is:

  1. First Response
  2. Early Predictor
  3. & 4. Freedom test strip

What do people think? How accurate are these?

Many thanks.

I suspect you'll be like me, in complete disbelief and not expecting to see anything at the scan because it can't possibly be true. :o

Congratulations and definitely a line!

I tested straight after I missed my period as I'd had symptoms, and got a positive - I went off to the doctor all excited and they just didn't really give a shit! Gave me some booklets, and suggested it would have been better for me to have come at 8 or so weeks.

So in answer, it probably wouldn't hurt to go, but there won't be that much action at this stage. They don't even check you're pregnant.

Congratulations. :)

Phone your GP surgery and ask how they do things, some places have you see the doctor, some refer you straight to the midwife, some ask you to wait a few weeks.
