Hi Everyone.

We are about to embark on our FER Cycle. We have 3 frozen blastasyst embryo's left from our ivf. The ivf worked but we miscarried and we've had 3 failed goes of iui and clomid b4 that!

Not too sure on the whole precedure, so if anybody has been through this......your advice would be much appreciated.

Hi popadums...

I guess every clinic probably has a slightly different procedure for the whole process, but wanted to wish you lots of luck.

I miscarried after a FET cycle (I developed OHSS and had to abandon my fresh cycle after EC, and all our embryos were frozen on day 2).

Afetr the M/C we still had some day 2 embryos in the freezer so the clinic defrosted all of them and took them on to blastocysts (several didn;t make it).

I then had the 2 best blastocysts transferred, resulting in DS who will be 3 in March!

I found waiting to hear whether the embryos had made the thaw and then subsequently made it to blastocyst extremely hard.

I would never have made it through any of my treatment without the Fertility Friends website - are you a member?

It really helped to be cycling with other people who know what you are going through / going through the same.

If you want any more info please let me know.

Wishing you all the best.

Popadums, Good Luck we have just started our GEEP, transfer due mid November. We have DS 10mths thanks to first IVF. Very nervous this time because I know how lucky we were first time round. HRT tablets have to take this time are awful. Have no info to impart but at least you know of someone else going through the same thing

Hello there.

I wondered if you could possibly give me some advice?

My sperm count on two occasions this year has been:

Count 110million/ml

Motility 65%
Progression 3 (out of 4)
Abnormal count 55%
MAR Positive

Count 85million/ml
Motility 50%
Progression 2.5
Abnormal count 65%
MAR Positive

I understand that the antibodies stick/clump the sperm together. I've never had a vesectomy or injury down below, so not sure why I have them?

I've been told it's unusual to have a good sample with antibodies, so is there something I can take to reduce them or get rid of them altogether?

We had ICSI in the summer, which worked but wife miscarried and last 3 blasysist embryo's did not survive the night after defrofting??

I would be most gratefull if you could help or shed some light.

Many thanks.

Kind regards,
