My husband and I are both 35 and have been trying for our first child for almost 6 months with no success. I know this is not all that long but we are looking to get some tests done soon, possibly privately to check if we have any problems. I know very little about this however so what would you recommend we get done? Obviously my husband will be easy with sperm analysis but I am unsure what I will need. I have looked on the clinics website and it offers a package with pelvic ultrasound and AMH measurement. Is this enough? I have also read about having progesterone levels measures but it doesn't mention that in the package so assume it may need to be done seperately?

I was tested for Thyroid, Vit D, Prolactin, FSH, LH, Testosterone and AMH and had a scan. Tests were done on day 3 of cycle to measure FSH. Day 1 is the first day of your period.

Rufus can I ask did your GP offer those tests or did you have to go Private?

I went private but I have PCOS diagnosed 17 years ago so already knew there might be problems ttc.
