Ah man, what a rough few days.

Husb and I have been ttc our first for just over a year now with no joy, so had the usual bloods and bits tests last week. Went in Friday morning for the foof MOT and the Dr gave me the blood results afterwards. Not great news to state the flaming obvious.
Blood count, thyroid etc all normal, but my hormones are through the roof. Waiting for a letter to refer me to the fertility clinic at the hosp for more tests and a scan as she suspects poss POVS amongst other things. But the thing that's scaring me is that she said whilst I'm still getting AF, the LH/FSHresults also suggest possible early menopause.

I'm 32.

I'm so sorry Kitten. What a horrible shock.

The thing to remember, and I understand how difficult it must be to do right now, is to stay positive. Your GP doesn't know all the ins and outs yet and neither do you. Worrying doesn't help, if anything it will make you feel worse. There's nothing to achieve by doing it.

I know how difficult it must be not to do that right now when all you must want to do is think the worst. But try and wait and see for the proper results before writing yourself off. This isn't the end, just a slight detour on your ttc journey. Hang in there.

Sending bug hugs.

Thank you sweetie. Tbh I think I'm still just a bit in shock at the results, fingers crossed I should hear this week about a referral to the clinic to see what's what. Here's hoping I'm not written off yet!!

Apologies, clicked send by accident!

I also had full bloods done too and had dreaded phone call from Dr saying my progesterone levels were too low indicating that ovulation may not have taken place. 3 days later I was in his office telling him I was pregnant (4 weeks).

Dr was so pleased, he said it was possible for any woman to become pregnant if they ovulate regardless of hormone levels...so there is hope for you...keep positive!!

What do you mean by ratios indicating menopause? High fsh?
