HI all, I am new to Mumsnet so apologies if i have posted in the wrong place but I am considering starting to try for baby no 4. We have 6 year old twins and a 2 year old and i can't stop the yearning I have to have another. I am 34 but because I have needed fertility treatment for my other children, I'm not sure that its best to wait much longer. How many children do you all have? Any experiences of having 4?
Thanks
cerrchi

I have 5, so yes experience. I had twins, then when they were 2 I had another, then another when he was 4 and twins were 6 and then another when youngest was 3. So ages were 9, 9, 7, 3 and newborn xx Goodluck xx

Just to add I found the most difficult 'jump' was from 3 to 4. I thought 3 was a doddle, but not so with 4. But to be fair number 4 was and still is a little demanding! My fifth baby, like the 3 oldest no problem at all! x

Thank you all, im definitely swaying towards trying to have baby no.4. Do you think its better to have them close together or to wait until my 3 boys are a bit older and a bit more independent?
x
