Sazzlehopes - you asked about DS's age/gap on the other thread.

DS was 4 in October and we did want a big age gap (even though I am a bit older now, I was 38 in July). For a couple of reasons, I wanted to be able to have that 'Me & You' time with DS for a longer time - Perfect Firstborn love-in I suppose Blush

I wasn't absolutely sure I wanted another one until this summer either, I had a tough pregnancy and a big surgery linked to that when DS was 1. Took a long time to recover mentally.

Lastly, DS will start school in Sept (he's at Montessori now) and that will hopefully make things a tiny bit easier on everyone with a new LO. NewLO gets 'Me & You' time while DS is at school and DS can have his 'Me & You' time when he gets home .. and I might still have time to ride my horses!

But basically, the main reason is that I just wasn't really, really, sure until this summer. Then all of a sudden, broody!

Thanks for the new thread, love the title!!

Lucy, looks very promising. You are very sensible to wait another week to test again. I admire you but I couldn't do it!

Thanks, another brand is perhaps a good idea. I think I'll leave it again until mid next week and see. No sign of af and I'm still feeling sick and dizzy, which I can only assume is symptoms so hopefully it was just a dodgy day to test. Still hanging onto those two from last week so I'm hopeful.

Welcome mrs!

Barmy sounds frustrating! Good luck for when you get back!

Congrats Lucy - A line is a line!!

Still no smiley on my opk and still suffering thrush. Will not take the oral tablet incase I do catch and won't use the cream or pessary in case it hinders the little swimmers.
On cd15 and day 7 of dtdathon. Offered hubby the day off last night was praying he'd just want to sleep but he declined saying I won't be blaming him if I don't get my BFP. Got to admire his sense of duty although he would happily dtd everyday and is making the most of it seeing as BFP means a ban on doctors orders

Have to say I was using opks when trying to conceive with pregnancy number 3 (Internet cheapies) and never had any indication of ovulation but still fell pregnant. Is this common for opks not to pick up the hormones? Has anyone else had this?

Ooh new thread! Fx Barmy, symptoms sound promising.

I'm going to POAS on Sunday I think. Not hopeful to be honest, zero symptoms. I've never done a HPT before though so I'm weirdly a bit excited.

Do we have a list of current/new BFP's ?

Is it sad that I want to see me on it ... Blush

Knottyknitter · 13/12/2013 11:23

In the depths of the 2ww here, and now finding symptoms where there shouldn't be any yet! Latest was travel sickness on the way to work this morning, with associated feeling grot since though, so I await the D&V rather than the BFP...

Hi all... I've got to run, and I'll post properly later, but... I've got a line! It's faint, but it's there! Husband says it only counts if it's still there tomorrow Grin so am going to buy a digi after uni! Ayeeeeee! How on EARTH am I not going to tell everyone I see?

I feel this is a lucky new bus! Luck to all those POASing soon!
