Conception

Losing your boobs- is it worse after no. 2?

I am on the Hoping for Positive July thread. Not strictly about conception but have a question for all ladies with 2+ kids.

Does each child have a cumulative impact on the size/ shape of your boobs, or does the first round of pregnancy/ bfeeding do the majority of the damage?

Went bra shopping today. Before having DD (now 2) I was a 36 D. Since then I seem to be getting smaller and smaller and today ended up with a 32B!

Although looking forward to them swelling up nicely again when I get pg(!), my question is- is this shrinking trend going to continue if I have another?

PS Don't want to offend anyone else who is small- I quite like my current size, can wear strappy tops etc. Just wondering where it will stop....

Are you thinner in general after your first child?

I only had six months or so between stopping bf DS1 and getting pg with DS2, but I do think boobs come back, post-baby, more or less.

I only have 2 kids and my boobs are more droopy but in terms of size, I am the same size as I was pre kids (but the shape is different iyswim)

Thanks for replies,

know exactly what you mean about shape or "meat"... DD looked at mine in the bath the other day and said "Mummys wings!"

Am about the same weight and size as pre-DD. Have thought about putting a bit on to boost them up but expect I would just get a beer belly!

Muma3, did you notice a difference each time around?

yes everytime i feed my dc i lost the firmness to my breasts . i assumed that when they say that you lose weight whilst breastfeeding it meant from other areas then just my boobs. im only 24 but i have boobs of an 80year old . i will be brave enough one day to see gp about it and maybe have some surgery as it affects my selfconciousness
