Anyone else find this? Pains are worse, AF is heavier, nauseous, felt ill for 4 days prior to AF showing up. What a lovely Xmas Xmas Sad

I got two BFNs and only 1 day late so not an MC but just an extra kick in the teeth? Or just my age? We've been ttc since Jan 2012, I'm almost 35.

Hello
This is my first post, just joined, so hope that it works.
I am in the same boat, ttc for 3rd month and each time felt nauseous, sore boobs....I wonder if it's because I'm looking for signs?

Ditto. It's like torture every month!

I found this when we were TTC for my DS. My midwife at the time said it was really common and that it was my body preparing for pregnancy. Sounded a bit 'hmmm' to me, but could be true?!

I think it's just that you are paying far more attention to your body now that you are TTC (presuming that you haven't had any changes in hormones eg stopped taking the pill etc).

Thanks Vix - doesn't make much sense to me either but I'd like to believe it!

Normally I can get away with a bit of pain, couple of panadol & done. Not two days of pain that even diclofenac barely touches. Boo.

I'm with you on that WeeNoggi. Much more painful AF, heavier and longer but always on time. Thought it was just my imagination so I'd like to believe what vix said too!

My midwife wasn't in the least bit strange, and gave fab advice. This was the only slightly odd thing she said to me. Wink

I was only TTC for 3 months and the 2 periods I had were insanely heavy and painful compared to normal.

I feel the same way but I believe this is due to coming off BCP 7 months ago. I'm just not used to natural periods. I started taking evening primrose oil last month and I haven't had any severe cramping pain since then and my cycles seem to have shortened and regulated themselves. Wasn't what I was expecting it to do but I'm not complaining.
