There's a short pre-seed thread if you scroll a bit further down.
Amanda01 started it as she has recently ordered some and Isthis me and emkana both have had imediate successes with it!
Hope that helps. :)

Can you buy pre seed in a tube rather than sachets?

Report
coggy · 12/03/2006 18:06

I haven't actually bought any myself yet even though I am sounding like an expert!!
I went online the other day to have a look and actually only found it in sachets. I was also expecting to buy it in a tube like KY.
I think it was about £12 something for six sachets.
Rather expensive.. but if it works.......?!

I did notice that if you buy a pregnancy test with them the pre seed is cheaper.

Hey...I'm going to revive this thread cos.....I used it once and it wasn't much good for me. Maybe I didn't give it a good enough squirt??!! Wink

Any other findings with it?
Trace (sorry messages for you everywhere) how have you got on with it this month?

I used it while ttc (which ended up like a military operation) - I thought it was pretty good and liked the idea of giving the swimmers as much help as possible. I used to buy it on blushingbuyer.com

It said on the package to use it up to 15 minutes before bding. I used it about 4 minutes before (not that I was timing it of course!!) so maybe I havdn't given it long enough to 'spread out'!! Blush Sorry about the details but I was disappointed.
I will try again.

Can you explain you post a bit more coggy, maybe having a thick day!

It's a nasty business jelly jelly!!
Hey...I've just realised how appropriate your name is for this thread!! Tee hee!!! Sorry but I am now sadly laughing away to myself...at myself!! I need to get out more! Wink

What do you want to know?
It's in individual applicators. I was surprised to find out that you basically stick it up and sqeeeeeeeeeeeze the stuff out.
I tried to do it subtly in the bathroom coz it said you could apply iut up to 15 minutes before to lubricate the necessaries.
I didn't feel suitably lubricated after a few minutes so I wondered if it made any difference applying it earlier or maybe I didn't get it all out or maybe I'm just rubbish!!

Anyway we had to use ky in the end anyway but I will try again soon.

I hope I haven't explained too much now!! Blush

Thankyou for pointing out my name. Made me laugh. Thanks for explaining it i though you might just use it for a additional lubricant outside not like canestan.

Anyone else used it and rates it, let me know what you think when you have used it with more notice.

Does it actually help to get the sperm there or is it justa sperm friendly lube?

Report
coggy · 11/05/2006 13:11

I think it's just sperm friendly so they can swim thro' without getting stuck!
I may try actually squeezing it directly onto dh.
Maybe that'll work - what d'you reckon.

Trace did you use it in the end?

Report
jellyjelly · 11/05/2006 14:31

Thats how i use ky so i guess it could work, might get really messy unless you can stop after you have started (I mean getting the stuff out not sex!)

I also dont know bding is? Jsut getting used to teminology

Report
coggy · 12/05/2006 21:08

bding is baby dancing. It took me ages to get used to the initals but there is an acronym list at the top of the page - if you click on it it tells you most of the well used ones. after a while you just get in tuned and start working them out. :)

No....my dh said it put him off!!
Not quite the magic effect I was looking for really!!!

I will try again....sometime.....next month mid-cycle no doubt but if it still is no good I will send it off to you!
But hopefully neither of us will need it then??!!
Ever hopeful,
X

It's sperm-friendly lubricant. KY and similar are supposed to be too gloopy for sperm to swim tho but pre-seed is supposed to be more like your natural juices (Shocksorry - couldn't resist typing that even though it's grim!!!!!)

It come in little sachets that you 'squirt' up (this reply just gets better and better doesn't it??!!)

It's supposed to be really good (although expensive) and as you can see....didn't do a lot for us last time I used it!!
