Due to the luck thread starters have, I thought I'd mark a place for the second thread as we are so chatty!
Here's to BFPs for us all :-)
Yay! Holding place and ready to chat!
Ha! Like your style Nicola!!
Thanks, alwyn!
There had been a run of thread starting luck recently, so I wanted a bit of that action :-)
This will be the end of the luck, ha ha!
Fx it's not!!
Hello, I would like to join too!
let's all get bfp this month!
Nicola if that's happens this would be the most fertile tread!
cheers to that!
and some
Oooh count me in. Need some of that luck from old thread.
<settles down with
and hands out chocolate cake>
I am in!!
I need some kind of luck, day 48 and counting
Hello! I posted on the first time frolickers thread, but there's more than one first baby thread. Is it bad netiquette to post here too? I'm 33, my husband is 38 and we've been trying for 10 months. We've had some basic tests done by the GP (blood tests and ultrasound for me, semen analysis for him) and have been referred to the hospital for further tests now, as I had a burst appendix 10 years ago and have been warned that this could affect fertility, as scarring could block my tubes.
My blood tests and ultrasound were fine, and I'm using a clearblue fertility monitor that says I ovulate on day 20 of a 30 day cycle. My husband's sperm count came back as low (5million/ml) but motility etc. was all fine, so this is being repeated and he's started taking the wellman conception vitamins. I'm pleased we've got the referral, but all of a sudden it all seems so much more serious! I'm so scared that my surgery from years ago is going to affect all this.
Hi all, can I join too? I'm 36, DH is 38 and we are on the 2nd cycle of TTC our first baby. Thought we had hit the jackpot first time last month as was 6 days overdue, but typically bought a test, which was negative and then AF visited the next morning!
Here's hoping for a BFP this month (or next). Lots of baby dust for everyone
Maclairey - a great help for bad skin in pure bentonite clay, you get a kilo off eBay for about £10 and mix up a face mask, literally feel the dirt being sucked out of your skin!
Thanks Pinkie, I may have to look into that. Not sure I can handle loads of zits again, it was bad enough first time round!
Hello to those above. Enjoy joining in the madness
It was the only thing that worked for me and I've tried everything the last 5 years!!
Tried to post to old tread, not possible any more.
Maclairey - same prob here! I look like 15 year old teen!
Pinkie will try your tip. Fx it will help!
I am just chucking in an answer to mrsbugsy from the other thread:
The trouble is mrsbugsy is that I had this at the same time last month and got very excited about it. THIS month, I know it's not from pregnancy even thought the things this month are much more severe.
The heart burn thing I had last month, but things taste very strong for me today. The Lucozade I have had to water down and normally I can eat pineapple but it's been given away on account of clawing down my gullet.
I was erring towards progesterone levels but non of my other symptoms indicate progesterone errors. Even thyroid says your menstrual cycles are meant to slow or change and mine hasn't. If it is a thyroid issue, I have half the symptoms over the overactive and half of under active.
I have no idea.
But the antihistamines make my mouth not so dry so I could actually manage to sleep a full (ish) night last night.
Doctors' issue now. They need to fix it. I have no idea.
flipperskipper
Dont' get down on yourself. We've been TTC for the same length of time and I had fibroid surgery 3 years ago. They go on and on about how it could affect my fertility but I know my doctor would have told me if there were any issues.
Chin up. We'll get there
<sneaks in to mark place, take the BIGGEST bit of echo's chocolate cake..>
Welcome to the newbies, hope some of the luck from this lovely thread rubs off on you!
nicola/red i love love love Muse! They are amazing live, always put on a brilliant show. Really hoping I get allocated tickets as it's always such a nightmare trying to get on Ticketmaster or whatever in the general sale. There are only two London dates though arrrgh!!
Fx you get the tickets kitten
I not feeling too hopeful this cycle, only dtd twice so far. Will try and fit in some humpage over the weekend.
<waves at everyone on the thread>
Hump hump hump
I hope we've done it enough because I am TIRED today. It feels like a Saturday and I'm working!
I need to get on it tonight. And Sunday. And Tuesday.
Am feeling exhausted at the thought of it :P
We have had so many nightmares getting tickets, Kitten so I more than share your pain.
I've seen them about 20 times all over the world!
Ok so I am contemplating poas tomorrow morning. Am I wasting my time and wishful thinking or should I do it? I have no idea what's going on with my body and don't want to keep getting my hopes up and wasting tests. Answers on a postcard please
I will pee with you!
Far too early for me but what the hell?
Ok kick it's a date. I will be using a sd hpt. Maybe we will get lucky although I am not convinced for myself...
Aw, I POAS this morning (bfn by the way) but wish I had waited to join the POAS party instead now!
