Hi, have been TTC DC 2 for 5 months now. I ovulate around day 18 usually, with a 27 day cycle. Before I had my DS, my cycle was longer by a couple of days. When I fell PG with DS (took 10 months TTC), I ovulated on day 18, but I am just a bit concerned that my cycle has shortened since I had him, and that any fertilised embryo may not have time to implant (had suspected 'chemical pregancy' a couple of months back - i.e. early faint positive, followed by further negatives then late period). I am 31 (nearly 32). Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks :)

I would go and see your GP - mine was very helpful with this issue and has booked me some blood tests. Good luck!

Thank you, I am always a bit wary as docs I have seen in the past haven't always been that helpful. I hope your tests go well.

Thanks - if you have health insurance, it may be worth checking if that covers fertility testing. In the event, I have actually just stuck with the NHS as the waiting times for initial tests were fine, but my health insurance would have covered testing (although obviously not treatment). Good luck!
