This might get long!
7 months ago I started taking the pill, before that I'd had no hormonal contraception for years and had a regular 29 day cycle. So started pills, all ok for a few months, then periods, or withdrawal bleeds just stopped. I stopped taking the pill incase I was pregnant and to try and figure it out. Still no bleeding, Dr did blood tests, def no pregnant. Concluded the pill had just messed everything up and to give it time. Decided then that hormones not for me and asked for the copper coil, they wouldn't do it becuase of the missing periods and not being able to be 100% that I wasn't pregnant. Was told to go back on pill for three weeks and then following a neg pregnancy test they'd do it. Did that, had coil in, all good. Until DP decided that that evening was the perfect time to say 'actually now would be a good time for us to try for that baby we've been talking about' So back off to clinic I go and have coil taken out, to the seemingly endless amusement of the nurses!
So that was almost four weeks ago, I still haven't had a period. It's now almost 5 months since I did. I did have some light bleeding for a few days after the coil came out and I assume it was to do with that. On advice of Dr I am now attempting to chart, although I only started that a few days ago, and I bought a load of ovulation test things. I've been using them every day, no positive, just faint lines. The temperature has gotton higher each day so far which seems odd to me too. I have no idea where my cycle is or what to expect and it's starting to bug me now.
Anybody have any ideas? or assurances that my body hasn't just stopped working!?
