ovulation pain and no +opk whats going on??

hi, i had quite strong ovulation pains saturday and sunday and today still no +opk and temperature after peaking yesterday has come down slightly. last month i had pains then +opk and temp hikes, so have no idea what's going on! i'll try another opk after 2pm just to check... anyway, i did a google on low temps and menopause came up!! i'm a reluctant 40 year old btw!

can anyone provide any insight???? :)
