TTC No.3 for over a year?

Have been ttc no.3 for a year now, i know my cycle so well. My AF is due tomorrow. POAS yesterday and BFN. We did it sooo much this month, as we were on holiday for a week at the right time..
I also know that i'm not pg, because of how i'm feeling etc.
I've been on so many buses, i've confused myself.
Starting to wonder if it will ever happen? And feeling bad for getting upset about it, because i know how lucky i am to have 2 healthy DC.
Is there anyone going through the same thing? Where you can't plan your future? I went to the drs a few months ago, and she said i was doing all the right things, and there's a good chance it will happen soon. The strange thing is, it happened straight away with first 2 DC? Who are now 4 & 2.
Wondering whether buying a fertility montior would help?

I would forget the monitor because you have been ttc for a year and would be seeing the GP again instead. Both of you should now have some initial tests done; semen analysis for him (this test should be repeated as one analysis is not fully conclusive) and blood tests for you to see what your hormone levels are like.

Ovulation is not an exact science and ovulation can occur earlier, later or not at all in any given cycle. I would also try and put out of your mind this whole idea of "doing it at the right time" - conception does not work like that unfortunately. Would suggest you make love when you both feel like it as that will also take the pressure of yourselves to conceive.

Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems. I watched a documentary on TV the other night with Dr Winston about conceiving at it reminded me just what a miracle it actually is that it happens anyway! I used an ovulation predictor when I was trying to conceive but I was using a sperm donor do it had to be right as only had a small window to conceive. I got a good picture after two months and had actually been trying at the wrong time. I think what im trryiung to say is that if it feels the right thing for you then go aherad and use one it doesnt have to take the pleasure away at this stage just more like give you a hand in the right direction. I bought mine from Pride Angel along with some vitamins to enhance fertility, might be worth you taking a look. Good luck anyway hope things happen soon! xx

Hi, We have been trying for no 3 since last June although have been more active about it over the last 3 months ie using ov sticks etc. I know I should feel lucky as I have 2 DC's too but would really like no 3 but feel like time is running out. I am 39 and just had laparoscopy and zapped endometriosis. We tried for 2 years for DC1 and 1 year for DC 2. I have booked to see my GP to see if they will agree to giving me Clomid.
