Anyone else feeling sad?

Hi - I feel slightly guilty posting her, as after years of trying (and having every test known to man - all of which came back inconclusive), we were finally blessed last year with a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately, she wasn't blessed with good health and was born with serious medical problems and is disabled. Despite all that, she is genuinely the love of my life and I'm so thankful for her.

However, over the past few months the friends that I have met at the normal mother and toddler groups have all started to announce they are expecting baby number 2, with what seems like the first time of trying. By contrast, I know we have pretty much zero chance of being able to have more children. Whilst I'm obviously genuinely pleased for them, why do I feel like crying everytime someone tells me their 'exciting news'? Sad

Ah, poor you.

Yes, I feel sad too. I'm 40 tomorrow and have been ttc for 18 months without success. Added to the fact that DH doesn't seem concerned in the slightest doesn't help. When I told him that the doc had recommended no cycling he just replied, "I don't think that's going to happen!". :(

Big hugs x

Oh yes proudmum read my inane ramblings on the difficulties in TTC2 thread on here. I am blessed with a beautiful dd age 4, we would love another one, but 2 MC and 2.5 years of trying, nada! Everyone else seems to be have baby number 2,3,4. As soon as I get over one persons baby news, another comes and smacks me in the face, and everytime I go on FB someone is pg or talking about their pg in every bloody status. There, now breath Smile
