Hi - I feel slightly guilty posting her, as after years of trying (and having every test known to man - all of which came back inconclusive), we were finally blessed last year with a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately, she wasn't blessed with good health and was born with serious medical problems and is disabled. Despite all that, she is genuinely the love of my life and I'm so thankful for her.
However, over the past few months the friends that I have met at the normal mother and toddler groups have all started to announce they are expecting baby number 2, with what seems like the first time of trying. By contrast, I know we have pretty much zero chance of being able to have more children. Whilst I'm obviously genuinely pleased for them, why do I feel like crying everytime someone tells me their 'exciting news'?
