Can your cervix be high and you not be pregnant

Currently on cd29 of usual 28 day cycle I have been having increasing symptoms this week, tested this afternoon with cbd and got a bfn :(

felt my cervix and it's really high and wet, my understanding is that at af it's low and dry, am I right and what else could cause high cervix??? Very confused had put of testing as didn't want a bfn so no so so disappointed and gutted :( :(
