those of you who took over 2 years to conceive number 1, how long did it take for number 2?

It took us about three and a half years to get pregnant for our first, our second one was conceived the first month, go figure!

It took us about 2 years with the first and then had 2 happy accidents :-)

I took 2 years with clomid help to get DS1. I found out I was 2 months pregnant when DS1 was 11m old Blush

it took us 6 years ttc ds, I fell pg 6m after he was born, mc. several subsequent mc's and an ep and Im currently 5+3 after 5.5 years.

First was 10 years, second was 2 months! Third was also 2 months.

2.5 years to get pregnant with dd1

Pregnant again when she was 6 months, periods hadn't come back as I was still breastfeeding but we were having unprotected sex in hope of eventually getting pregnant

Am now expecting dc3 conceived on v first occasion of unprotected sex having decided to go for dc3

5 years and IVF for DD1.
Currently 40 + 6 weeks with No.2. I hadn't had periods as had just finished breastfeeding. Weren't using contraception as thought the chances of it happening were very slim so it came as a complete surprise! (I think it took us a few months to get over the shock)

Will hopefully meet the little monkey in the next few days!

Wow freckly congratulations.

Wish I knew how long it would take. Sigh. Think we will ditch condoms when she is eight months as then they would be 17/18 months apart minimum. Not sure I could cope with less than that.
