Hi ladies,

I'm looking for a glimmer of hope on our TTC journey. After trying for 18 months with no success, had a lap and dye and I've been diagnosed with some kind of disease of the fallopian tubes - they are not blocked but apparently 'rigid', i.e. looks like they might not be able to move the sperm and egg to where they need to be. It?s not caused by endometriosis and I was told it didn?t look like an infection, so none the wiser as to what caused it.

Fertility specialist has said to try for another six months the old fashioned way, but we should consider IVF after that. DH?s sperm is fine.

I know it could be worse, but I?m kinda sad that it looks like IVF might be our only option. The fact that we?ve been told to keep trying for a while sounds like there might still be a chance of it happening naturally?? Anyone else manage to get pregnant naturally after being told both tubes were damaged/diseased?

Thanks!
