What time of day should I POAS?

I went through a pack and a half (30 sticks - gah!) last month and missed my bloody ovulation date on the two days I didn't POAS when I was away on a business trip.

Wondering whether I should lay out the cash and have another attempt at POASing...

What time of day do you recommend I POAS?

Also - I have PCOS... And also very long and irregular cycles (last month was 42 days and the previous was 40). Can Clearblue ovulation sticks still work with me??

Wondering if I should even bother...

Help is appreciated!

I have been told that as far as timing go - 4pm is the best time and try not to pee for as long as possible before hand... good luck

Thanks Katherine - I was doing it wrong last time... I did it with my first thing in the morning 6am wee.

4pm might be tricky (I work in a big open plan office!) but will try for 6pm when I get home and hold my wee for as long as I can!

they say that if you want to take the whole thing really seriously you should do it morning and afternoon but it doesn't half get expensive!!

I'd check the other threads on pcos I'm sure I read that poas for ovulation is unreliable in pcos because the lh surges aren't as indicative of ovulation as they generally are for those without pcos. I'm no authority on the matter but there are others who know more...
