Evening Primrose Oil - how much??

Hi all

I've just started taking EPO this cycle to help with production of stuff.

I bought 500mg tablets, and the bottle says 1-2 a day, but when I looked up using it to help ttc, it seemed to be recommending a dose of around 1500mg.

For those who take it, what doseage do you use and what effect has it had?

can you ask advice at the shop where you bought it? I find sales advisors in health food stores are very helpful.....I'd start taking 2 a day, like the bottle advises, then ask in a shop when you get a chance if it is safe to take an extra tablet every day for your purpose!....good luck with it, I hope it works for you.

Sorry, jumping on this thread!! What do you mean only take it up to ovulation? Why?

I read that. Pink it can cause uterine contractions in pregnancy, so if you are ttc you should only use it from cd1 - ovulation day to be safe.
