Hello
I hope someone can help me
I have just won a CBFM on ebay with 13 sticks...

Im really really hoping that it will work first time (dont we all) and i was wondering if 13 tests sticks would be enough?

I assume on the first few days of your cycle you dont have to POAS do you?

I normally have a 29 - 31ish day cycle so i would guess i ovulate day 15 - 17ish but have never tested to know for sure...

should i buy another pack of sticks just in case (I guess i can put them back on ebay if i dont use them) or should 13 sticks probably be enough?

TIA

TIA, generally you will be asked to use 20 sticks in the first month whilst your CBFM is trying to learn your cycle. You will normally need to test from day 6. Don't forget to do a full reset if it has been used before. It should be in the back of your manual or try the clear blue helpline for instructions.

Hi nannyl, lucky you winning one!
I'm a bit crafty with my teststicks, and only use them around the time I think I ov, just to make sure. Of course, if it's late I use the normal amount, but if I get it right then only use about 6 or so per cycle. I wouldn't advise doing that the first time you use the CBFM as it needs the teststicks every morning to track your cycle and so set itself for the following months. However, if you are pretty sure you ov around day 15-17 then you probably won't need 20. Just make sure you test until your highs, and then through your peaks, and once you've got down to low again I would stop. There's no point wasting sticks imo Grin

Good luck!
