Help - just finally decided to TTC but then cycle suddenly all messed up!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any experiences to share/advice etc. Basically for 3 years now (maybe more) I've had a fairly routine 28 day cycle, hardly any deviance (possibly a day here or there) and I've been able to tell when I've been ovulating etc. However, was not TTC so pointless info for my brain really!

Anyway, me and DH finally decided a few weeks ago to take the plunge and start trying but now suddenly out of the blue my AF is 14 days late. I've done a HPT and it was BFN - really quickly as well so I take it that is a definite BFN. But now I feel very frustrated as I don't know where in my cycle I am or when it's going to come back . I think (given the BFN) it's just delayed as I've been very stressed and not eating properly for weeks and weeks now but I have finally got a grip of myself and sorted myself out. When do you think AF will be back?

When did you last test?

People do seem to miss periods for no particular reason. Maybe you haven't ovulated this month.

I tested on Monday when I was 10 days late - how long would you leave it before testing again?
