eggs in bath, is this worms?

I've just put my DD (20m) to bed, after finding what might be eggs in her bath, perhaps from poo but not sure about this. The eggs were about a 1 tbsp of hard granules like small sandy-coloured mustard seeds in a thin clear gel. No other signs of poo in the bath, and I suppose it's possible they could have come from a bath toy (but not sure how, or what they are). No other symptoms of worms, eg no itchy bottom, wrigglers in nappy, loss of appetite etc. Did not see her pull usual poo face or grunts, these 'eggs' just appeared there and I missed the moment when they appeared, so don't know where they came from at all. Anyone else seen this?

Definitely not worm eggs which are not visible to the naked eye, Need sellotape and a microscope at least for thread worm eggs. Wouldn't worry about it myself.

From the inside of the nappy?

Do you use disposable nappies. This sounds like the gel from inside them?

Yeah I'd say gel from a nappy too - it can escape and get stuck to their skin .

Thanks everyone. I do use disposables but the gel is a good thought but in fact I don't think it's that, as I tore open her pre-bath nappy to check and the gel was just like jelly - pale yellow and not properly hard, crunchy and dark yellow like mustard seeds. Anyway, tot seems fine and no reappearance of mystery 'eggs' tonight so am hoping PardonMyClench has the right idea and will just not worry unless some kind of drama escalates, in which case I will be right back here! Appreciate the advice.

could she have been eating sand? I wonder if the sandy granules are just that, and the jelly could be a bit of loose poo caused by irritation from the sand?
