My DS is 9 months and has recently got very attached to sucking on the paw of a soft toy squirrel and also a Pooh Bear toy. He has been poorly today - sick and extremely runny tummy - and there is a chance that he might have got a tummy bug from the sucked paws. He sucks them as he falls asleep, just after finishing his bedtime bottle so it is very possible that they get milk soaked into them which goes sour etc.
I do wash both toys in the washing machine at 40 degs regularly but can't really go any hotter as they are made of synthetic fabric.
I would be really grateful for any ideas of how to blitz the bugs and sterilise the paws?
Many thanks!
