tiny pink spot doesn't go away with glass test?

DD 2.8 month came and showed me little pink spot on her arm. She says it hurts and it doesn't go away when I press it... I'm probably paranoid as it's very very tiny and pale pink but why wouldn't it go away with pressure and why would it hurt..?? She has had all the immunizations she needs. If anybody knows, I would appreciate it?

if she doesn't have a temperature and is not ill and there is only one spot meningitis is highly unlikely. Spots can appear for a number of reasons. I'd wait for a few days and it will probably go away. But if you're worried about her of if she is feeling unwell seek medical advice.

Both mine get this from time to time, like pp said unless she has temp and is nwell is likely to be harmless. Xx
